Tree work at Titchmarsh

This huge Leylandii hedge was completely obscuring a fantastic view over the meadows at Titchmarsh.

 

The client asked for the height to be reduced to restore the vista. Around 20 trees made up the hedge. Each stem had to be section felled from within, working along the line whilst maintaining an even level.

The arising were chipped using a Timberwolf TW150 and used as mulch for landscaping.

Larger stems were seasoned and used by the client to fuel their woodburning stove
