Information about Keyston Tree Services
Tree surgery is a complex and skilled craft. You can read more about when and how trees should be pruned by visiting the tree management page.
To find out what’s involved in growing and maintaining a hedge and when is the best time to work on it visit the hedges page.
For notifiable weeds such as Ragwort and Japanese Knotweed and how we set about controlling alien plant species visit the weeds page.
Our well trained and fully insured personnel use protective clothing, safety equipment and procedures. We provide method statements, generic and site specific risk assessments, supported by guidance produced by the Arboriculture and Forestry Advisory Group, Health and Safety Executive and the National Proficiency Training Council (NPTC). The Committee on Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations apply to weed control methods using herbicides.
We have supplies of fresh wood chip suitable for equestrian and path surfacing purposes. A stock of composted wood chip produced from matured mixed deciduous and coniferous branch material, bark and leaves is usually available. This is ideal for mulching to conserve moisture, suppress weeds and as a general soil improver. Call us for prices.
